Artists

Angela Blackwood
Angela Blackwood, known as Triad the Artist, is a neurodivergent abstract artist based in Colorado whose work embodies resilience, emotion, and radical truth. Living with a disability, surviving trauma, and raising her child as a single mother, she brings lived experience to every canvas - turning pain into power and difference into beauty. Her intuitive and immersive art captures raw inner landscapes through color, movement, and texture. Triad's pieces are more than visuals - they're visceral reflections of the human spirit, speaking directly to those navigating life outside the lines.

Sky Welkin
Sky Welkin, born Derek Simon, is an artist from Virginia who currently resides in Colorado. He attended Old Dominion University (BFA) with a concentration in Print and Photo Media (class of 2014).

While he has enjoyed the various expressive aspects photography offers, his desire for a more honest expression was yet to be satisfied. Through realizing and accepting his attraction to the environments depicted by various animators and the wit of cartoonist Bill Watterson (Calvin and Hobbes), Derek found he could express himself more creatively by drawing illustrations and cartoons. And further, the works of Dr.Seuss, Futura 2000 and Shel Silverstein prompted Sky to develop a concept and personal theme of his own.

The word, ‘welkin,’ comes from an Old English term, wolcen, which means cloud or heavenly skies. Sky extended its meaning to include a unique landscape of his state of mind: a conceptual landscape that had themes of inquiry, continuum, reason, and evolution.  Sky Welkin establishes a foundation that supports the pillars of originality, truth, and perspective.

Cynthia Berg
Cynthia Berg is a contemporary visual artists for evocative, mixed-media works that explore the intersection of memory, identity, and nature. Born in 1994 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Berg developed a deep appreciation for the natural world from an early age, a passion that continues to influence her artistic practice.

Berg, self-taught, specializes in oil paintings that conclude figurative work, hyperrealistic portraiture, abstract dimensions, landscapes, and your occasional cat or banana flag.

Finn's Studio
Originally from Kansas City, Finn received his Bachelor's in Studio Art from Kansas State University. As an undergrad, he stayed active in the community by participating in the Beat Generation Art Show and featuring as the cover artists for Touchstone Magazine. Since relocating to Colorado, Finn has participated in various art shows, mural festivals, and exhibitions. Advertisements, typography, and onomatopoeias play an important role in Finn’s work.

Finn credits artist Roy Lichtenstein, Jean Michel Basquiat, and the Pop Art movement as his biggest influences as well as cartoonist Dan DeCarlo. To Finn artist like Lichtenstein blurred the lines between what was considered fine art.

ELKOH
Elias is a queer multimedia artist better known by stage name ELKOH. Since materializing in 2001, they have roamed the planet creating captivatingly strange audial, digital, and physical art for the inquisitive. Originally from Singapore, their journey has brought them across the United States, calling both California and Florida home before crash-landing in Colorado in 2024. While their primary focus is in experimental electronic bass music, on August 1st they will be sharing a chill multi-genre set featuring House, Hip-Hop, R&B, and everything in between.
